John Cullen Murphy original artwork for the ''Prince Valiant'' Sunday comic strip, #3138 in the series published 30 March 1997. Drawn in ink over graphite, with some red key lines and blue editorial note, on three sections of illustration board, conjoined on verso to measure approximately 14.5'' x 20''. Paste-up of logo, title, and a few words of lettering on second panel. Minor wear, overall in very good condition. From the John Cullen Murphy estate.
