General Jean-Marie Valhubert signed military document, in French, dated 14 April 1800. Valhubert formally assigns time off to a soldier in his brigade just two months before he himself was wounded in the Battle of Montebello. General Schaeuenburg, Chef-de-Brigade of the 28th Brigade de Ligne, countersigns. Document also bears stamps of the Inspector General and the Commissioner of War. Separation to folds of 13.75'' x 8.5'' document, else very good.
