Stan Laurel typed letter signed with his full name ''Stan Laurel'', mentioning Laurel & Hardy films and also the 1964 Alaskan ''Good Friday Earthquake''. Writing to his pen-pal friend Bill Brown Starkell, Laurel writes in part, ''...Do'nt recall fully what the L&H excerpts were in 'Hollywood-Stars' program other than a portion of 'Big Business'. Re the '30 Years' film, this has been out for some time now - over two years at least, most of the Clips concerning L&H are bits from the films we made single before we were teamed. Some I made alone for Broncho Billy Anderson I understand, I have'nt seen this film...The Alaska quake [registering 9.2] was certainly a shocking experience for those people, I sure sympathize with them...[signed] Stan Laurel''. Single page measures 5.5'' x 8.5''. Folds, else near fine. With original mailing envelope.
