Original ''Peanuts'' comic strip, hand-drawn by Charles Schulz, with baseball content. Published 2 April 1964, Linus asks manager Charlie Brown how he should pitch to a powerful, unseen hitter. Taking Charlie Brown's advice, Linus barely escapes being walloped by what looks to be a base hit. Despite this pitch, Lucy tells us in a subsequent strip that Linus never lost a game as pitcher. Strip measures 28.75'' x 7.5'', with United Feature Syndicate label on second panel. Very good to near fine condition.
