''Blondie'' Sunday comic strip hand-drawn and signed by Chic Young published on 23 November 1930, just 2.5 months after ''Blondie's'' premiere on 8 September. In this charming 12-panel strip, Blondie's mother appears just as much a heartbreaker as her daughter, with Blondie helping her marry the man she loves, despite the influence of a few Parisian girls. Titled ''Don't Leave the Pier''. Strip measures 23.25'' x 10'' in two pieces, as drawn. Some chips to margin and minor discoloration, overall in very good condition with virtually no toning.
