Letter to Jane Deacy from Lewis Bracker at I.A. Ruman & Co. Insurance, regarding automobile and motorcycle insurance for James Dean. In this interesting letter, dated 14 June 1955 approximately 3.5 months before Dean died, Bracker gets Dean's liability insurance up to date. Letter reads in part, ''Before leaving for Texas, Jimmy Dean asked me to have a statement of his account made up and sent to you for payment...Jimmy's auto and motorcycle are written on the usual one year policy...The reason that Jimmy's account has never been completely paid up lies within the Property floater...Jimmy has purchased expensive items that were added to the policy at the time of purchase and this of course resulted in additional premiums. / Jimmy also has a Personal Liability Policy with a limit of $100,000. His Auto Liability has limits of $100,000. each person, $300,000. each accident...'' Single page letter measures 8.5'' x 11''. Light wear, overall near fine.
