Retained copy of a letter from James Dean's agent Jane Deacy, dated 18 March 1955, shortly after the premiere of ''East of Eden''. Deacy writes to an individual in Dean's hometown of Fairmont, Indiana regarding a loan to him from the Trinity Student Aid Fund. Single sheet measures 8.5'' x 11''.
