Retained copy of the letter to James Dean from his agent Jane Deacy, dated 30 December 1954 to Dean at his home in New York. Deacy writes matter-of-fact to Dean about a possible project, ''...I was very definite with them insofar as not feeling that the part was big enough or good enough for you; however, they still said that if you have a chance they would like you to read it. So here it is; do as you please. / Love''. Single page measures 8.5'' x 11''. Toning and chipping to edges, overall very good condition. From the estate of James Dean's agent, Jane Deacy.
