Western Union telegram sent by James Dean's New York agent, Jane Deacy, to her Los Angeles counterpart, Dick Clayton. Undated, but circa early April 1954, Deacy announces Dean's arrival in Los Angeles to film his breakout role ''East of Eden'', adding he ''would like to be met'' at the airport.
