Rare invitation to the 1 October 2010 investiture ceremony of Supreme Court Justice Elena Kagan, the fourth woman to serve on the Court. On this day, Kagan took the Judicial Oath of Office in the formal investiture ceremony of the Supreme Court, which followed her informal swearing-in earlier in August 2010. Invitation card features an embossed gilt Supreme Court seal at top, and original Supreme Court envelope. Card measures 5.875'' x 4.5''. Near fine condition.
