Joan Crawford typed letter signed on her personal stationery, dated 5 April 1961. Letter is addressed to Patricia Lahr, reading in full, ''Thank you so much for the lovely painting in the frame, and for your sweet letter, and the Easter card. I was so touched that you spend so much time making the painting, and I am delighted to have it. I hope you will have great success with your paintings. How wonderful that you may go to Switzerland this summer. I hope your plans work out very happily for you. I do hope you have a nice Easter, and you were sweet to think of me. Bless you, and I send my deepest gratitude to you.'' Signed in black ballpoint, ''Joan'', with large signature measuring 3'' x 1.25''. Letter on one page measures 6.25'' x 6.75''. Some creasing and minor toning, in very good condition. Includes original envelope on Crawford's stationery.
