Rare contractor model set for AVCO's Missile Systems Division, titled ''USAF ICBM Reentry Vehicles''. Set displays the complete line of nine U.S. Air Force ICBM (Intercontinental Ballistic Missile) reentry vehicles, comprised of Series III, RVX 1, RVX 3, RVX 4, Mark 4 (Titan and Atlas), Mark 5, Mark 11 and 11A (Minuteman), Mark 17 and Advanced Design. One additional silver vehicle is also included for a total of ten. Vehicles range in size from 1.75'' to 4'', displayed on a 13'' x 3.5'' x.75'' wooden base with descriptive plaque. The name of Col. J.R. Smith is written to underside of wooden base. Some light soiling, with chipping to bottom of the additional silver vehicle. Overall in very good condition.
