Very rare complete 4-volume set of ''The Apollo Spacecraft: A Chronology'', published by NASA from 1969-1978. The most comprehensive account of the U.S. space program, the four volumes are broken down by time period, with Vol. I covering the years up until 7 November 1962, published in 1969; Vol. II covering 8 November 1962-30 September 1964, published in 1973; Vol. III covering 1 October 1964-20 January 1966, published in 1976; Vol. IV covering 21 January 1966-13 July 1974, published in 1978. Each volume measures 8'' x 10.25'' and runs approx. 300pp. Full of illustrations and photographs, volumes cover the Apollo program through its conceptualization and planning via Mercury and Gemini, and then analysis of both crewed and uncrewed missions. Light wear and discreet stamp to front cover of each, overall in very good condition.
