George H.W. Bush letter signed as Vice President, dated 4 August 1987. Bush writes to a supporter, John Fonteno, Jr. of Houston, telling him that he'll put Jim Shearer in touch with him. Shearer would be the Director of Bush's Presidential campaign in Texas. He closes with ''Bar and I hope to see you soon and appreciate your steadfast support''. On George Bush letterhead with the Great Seal embossed at top. Measures 6.25'' x 8.5''. Very good plus condition.
