NASA large format photo showing the Viking Lander on the rocky, red surface of Mars. Chromogenic resin-coated photo measures 14'' x 11'', mounted on presentation mat measuring 20'' x 16'', with ''Viking Lander on Mars'' penned in calligraphy style along margin. Photo originates from NASA executive James Fanseen, who served as White House and Capitol Hill liaison for NASA in the 1980s. Minor discoloration to mat, overall in very good plus condition.
