First UK edition of ''The Bride of Frankenstein'', the novelization of the eponymous film released in 1935. London: The Readers Library Publishing Co., Ltd, [1935]. Housed in original dust jacket with a pictorial illustration of Elsa Lanchester and Boris Karloff on cover. Bound in teal boards, book measures 4.5'' x 6.75''. Some sunning to spine of jacket, light soiling and foxing, and chipping along edges; very good condition. Some darkening to book spine and separation starting along front joint, and uniform toning to interior. Period ownership inscription dated 1935 to front free endpaper. Overall in very good condition, an attractive copy that complements the class Universal horror film.
