Remnants of ink appear in the wells, indicative of their use, with Christie possibly using them to pen some of her earliest novels. Inkstand measures 8.25'' x 6.625'' x 1'' tall, with each inkwell measuring 1.75'' square x 2.5'' tall. As displayed, measures approximately 3.25'' tall. Some soiling and a few missing mother of pearl panels. One foot detached but present. Overall in good condition. From the Agatha Christie 2006 estate sale of Greenway House, with Bearne's auction stickers present on all three pieces.
