Napoleon Bonaparte letter signed as Emperor of France, datelined Compiegne, 7 September 1811. Napoleon writes in French to his stepson, Eugene Rose de Beauharnais, telling de Beauharnais that he awaits his draft decree ''to end this case''. Visible portion of letter measures 7'' x 4.5'', framed with an engraving of Napoleon to a size of 12.75'' x 18.5''. Not examined out of frame. Single fold and faint foxing, else near fine.
