Scarce uncut M. Santos/Pele rookie card, contained within the 1958 edition of ''Swedish Rekord Journal'', number 37. The cards were printed in the ''Rekord'' because Sweden hosted the 1958 World Cup, where the rookie Pele scored two goals to give Brazil, along with his teammate Santos - better known as Garrincha, the championship trophy by defeating the host nation 5-2. Size of cards measure 2.875'' x 2'', and 36pp. complete magazine measures 8.25'' x 11.875''. Minute discoloration to very top margin of Pele card; short crease to verso of Santos card. Overall near fine condition. A population of only 76 cards appear in the PSA database, with uncut cards in the journal exceedingly scarce.
