Original Hal Foster lot of preliminary artwork for the ''Prince Valiant'' comic strip, #2095 in the series. Highly detailed pencil sketches were for the strip published on 3 April 1977, hand-drawn by Foster as the strip transitioned from Foster to John Cullen Murphy. With panels 1-2 appearing on one sheet, and a large drawing for panel 3 on a second sheet. Lot also includes a typed story outline, and separate typed story narration. All four sheets measure 8.5'' x 11''. Three hole punch, and light wear, overall in very good condition. From the John Cullen Murphy estate.
