Original Hal Foster preliminary artwork for the ''Prince Valiant'' comic strip, #1932 in the series. Pencil sketch was for the strip published on 17 February 1974, hand-drawn by Foster as the strip transitioned from Foster to John Cullen Murphy. Lot also includes a typed story outline, and separate typed story narration. Sketch measures 8.5'' x 11''; typed pages measure 8'' x 10.5''. Three hole punch, some soiling, and small chipping and red pen to margin. Overall in good condition. From the John Cullen Murphy estate.
