General George Custer signed envelope, as addressed to his wife ''Mrs Genl Custer''. The legendary General writes to his wife in Monroe, Michigan, postmarked from New York on 8 April. Envelope measures approximately 4.75'' x 3.125''. Light uniform toning, and uneven left edge from opening partially affecting the word ''Mrs''. Overall very good plus condition with a large, bold signature by the General.
