Edgar Hoover signed copy of his Cold War book, ''Masters of Deceit The Story of Communism in America and How to Fight It'' signed by the FBI Director on the front free endpaper, inscribed to Mr. & Mrs. C. Jasinski. New York: Henry Holt & Co., 1958. Book runs 374pp. and measures 5.75'' x 8.5'', bound in red and black cloth boards with gilt lettering, and housed in unclipped dust jacket complete with blood splatter graphics. Foxing and partial toning to leaves, especially to endpapers, overall in good condition.
