Cannes Lions award from 1972 featuring the famous winged lion atop a marble base. The Cannes Lions Festival debuted in 1954, alternating its location between Cannes and Venice for several years before permanently settling in Cannes in 1984. Plaque on pedestal translates from French, ''19 Festival International / Du Film Publicitaire / Groupe Television Cat. 9/B / Decerne A: Stan Lang Production / Annouonceur: Bristol Myers / Venise 1972''. Award measures 3.25'' x 4.5'' x 1.75. Small chip to back lower edges of pedestal and wear to plaque, overall very good condition.
