Rare large-format Royal Air Force lithograph poster, designed to train World War I pilots the basics of flight. With the Wright Brothers having only completed their public airshows a decade earlier, a mastery of aviation - let along combat flying, was uncharted territory. Poster entitled ''Taxying - Turning Too Fast'' shows a damaged British aircraft whose pilot had turned too quickly after landing. Published by Air Technical Services, dated 26 November 1918. With Air Ministry and Royal Air Force stamps on verso. Two-tone lithograph measures 40'' x 27''. Light wear, and soiling confined to margins, mostly to right margin. Overall very good condition.
