Sheldon Mayer hand-drawn artwork for ''The Three Mouseketeers'', a rough draft for a possibly unpublished story, where Minus saves Fatsy and Patsy from the rooster, using an improvised acorn-shooter since he'd be kicked out of the club if he ever used a pea-shooter again. Interestingly, the story is titled ''The 3 Mouseketeers'' at top, without spelling out ''Three'', as was done in the comic book. Story is four of five pages comprising pages 1 and 3-5, drawn on Strathmore Secords illustration paper measuring 14.25'' x 22.5''. With Mayer's stamp to verso of last page, and signed by Mayer on first page. Some mild dampstaining to edges, overall in very good condition. From the Sheldon Mayer estate.
