Steve Clark's personally owned ''Rickenbacher Electro'' lap steel guitar, used by the legendary Def Leppard guitarist to write songs for the ''Adrenalize'' album. According to Clark's former fiancee, Clark bought the guitar in April 1989 and often used it as he was composing songs for ''Adrenalize'', inspired by the sound of the accompanying slide bar. Vintage guitar was made by Rickenbacker (then called Rickenbacher) for only a few years during the mid-20th century, with metal logo on headstock reading ''Rickenbacher Electro / Los Angeles''. A funny little sticker of a long-bearded man throwing up his middle finger is also on the headstock, probably put there by Clark. Guitar measures 29.5'' long, housed in custom-fitting case, possibly original though Rickenbacher isn't noted on case. Some dings and chipping to paint, but fully functional.
