Master figurative artist Lucian Freud personally owned and used paintbrush and oil paint, given by Freud shortly before his death in exchange for the domain name lucianfreud.com. The well-worn Filbert brush, thick with oil paint, is a Pro Arte Series A, used for oil painting, and accompanied by a mostly spent tube of Winsor & Newton oil paint in Raw Umber. Paintbrush measures 12'' long, and paint tube measures 3.75'', originally containing 1.25 fl. oz. Accompanied by a copy of the note to the recipient from Diana Rawstron of the law firm Goodman Derrick, who handled Freud's estate.
