J.K. Rowling signed first edition, first printing of ''The Cuckoo's Calling'', the first crime novel in the ''Cormoran Strike'' series, written under her pseudonym Robert Galbraith. Rare as signed by Rowling, who more often signed this title as Galbraith (as marketing for bookstores), before the author's true identity was revealed. London: Sphere, 2013 with all first printing points present: Dust jacket features quote from Val McDermid on front and quotes from Mark Billingham and Alex Gray on back. Copyright page reads ''First published in Great Britain in 2013 by Sphere'' with no number line. First printing is rare, limited to only 1,500 copies, exceedingly more so as autographed by J.K. Rowling, here boldly signed on the title page in black felt-tip. Bound in navy blue boards with gilt titling, copy is near fine with no significant flaws. Dust jacket is also near fine, with price intact. Authenticated by Beckett with stamp, certification number A73049.
