At this time, Pound was confined to St. Elizabeths Hospital, in lieu of prison, where he entertained notable literary figures and translated texts such as ''Analects'', the ancient work attributed to Confucius. New York: Hudson Review, Inc., 1950. Bound in green softcovers, 98pp. book measures 5.625'' x 8.5''. Some toning to spine, and discoloration along binding from binding adhesive.
