Charles "Tex" Watson, who performed the gruesome killing of a pregnant Sharon Tate for Charles Manson, signs a lengthy typed letter in prison. Dated 8 August 1983, it reads, "…I wonder how you are coming along with the baby that you are carrying…In prison, life has always been changing…Our heart is becoming more and more pure…[signed] Charles". An autograph note from his wife at the end of the letter reads, "P.S. (From Kristin) Hi R! Bet you are ready to Pop! I am 4 1/2 months…" Measures 5.5" x 8.5", with envelope. Very good.
