John Entwistle of The Who handwritten lyrics to his song ''Countryside Boogie'', a demo track on his album ''Whistle Rymes'' released in 1972. Interestingly, the lyrics differ from the recorded version, here reading in part, ''Wild Horses couldn't drag me away / This is my country it's where I'm gonna stay / Just tell me why in the Hell do you say / If you stay, you gotta pay...you have to pay to be a patriot / A country run by lunatics / Countryside Boogie''. He continues, ''When rats desert a sinking ship / The crew soon follows (if their [sic] hip)...'' With writing in another hand at bottom. Page measures 8'' x 10''. Very good condition. With a COA from the John Entwistle Foundation.
