Bernard Krigstein early ink illustration, circa 1940, done for ''Air Youth'' magazine, where Krigstein worked as a staff illustrator in the early 1940s. Dramatic scene shows a man pointing a pistol at another man who rows a boat in a storm. Illustration measures 7.5'' x 6.5'' on board measuring 10.25'' x 8.75''. Light uniform toning and slight discoloration to left side, overall very good plus condition.
