Seuss signs on the front free endpaper, ''for Christie / with very Best Wishes / ...Dr. Seuss'', with his elaborate paraph accenting the inscription. New York: Random House, circa 1957 with eight-line attribution on copyright page and price of ''295/295'' on dust jacket, which is partially present. Book measures 9.25'' x 12''. Backstrip splitting from spine, small bookstore label to rear pastedown and names lightly written in pencil on an interior page; very good condition.
