John F. Kennedy matchbook, given by President Kennedy to a VIP at the White House on 11 April 1962. Matchbook has Kennedy's name imprinted on the front, over an embossed depiction of the White House, with the Great Seal on the back. Union bug at bottom of front flap. Affixed to sheet where information about gift is typed. The recipient, Gary Douglas Perkins, was a leader in insuring events, and insured the earliest Presidential inaugurations. Very good condition.
