Commemorative belt buckle for Challenger STS-51-L, given to the family of its Commander Dick Scobee. Buckle measures 3.75'' x 2.5'' with an image of the Challenger shuttle on front, the date of 28 January 1986 and the words spoken that evening by President Ronald Reagan, ''They slipped the surly bonds of earth to touch the face of God''. Reverse has copyright date of 1986, ''Sager'' and 30 of 2,000. Near fine condition. With an LOA from Scobee's brother.
