Stan Laurel typed letter signed ''Stan Laurel'', dated 11 September 1963. Laurel writes to his pen-pal friend Bill Brown in part, ''...Yes I remember well the short film you mention (Thrills & Laughter' film) I made that one for 'Broncho' Billy Anderson...Re President Kennedy's picture, I wrote his secretary to convey my thanks, I understand that is the proper procedure in these situations...I have no particulat [sic] choice as to who would play L&H if such a film was made...The scenes in the air plane (interior) were made at the Studio & matched in the actual long shots (Exterior) by a regular stunt flyer, the legs hanging below the plane was a Dummy, attached to the bottom of the plane...I met Clara Bow, Fay Wray...I did'nt discover Marcel Marceau, but was responsible in getting him engts in London, which gave him the opportunity to be seen by Producers & Agents etc...Thanks for the compliment.!
