Hunter S. Thompson autograph letter signed, upon a postcard postmarked San Francisco, November 1965 when Thompson was running with the Hell's Angels. Dated by hand 31 October, he writes to his friend Paul Semonin in part, ''...Got a deer with the 44 but no pigs due to the heat wave...Now for the last desperate leg. Am considering a total change to a concept of a 'Hell Angels Notebook,' instead of a standard-type book, which bores hell out of me. What do you think - a sort of Journal, from my first contact to my last? H''. Postcard measures 5.5'' x 3.25''. Light wear, overall very good condition.
