Stan Laurel typed letter signed with his full signature ''Stan Laurel''. Composed on 14 May 1963, Laurel writes to his pen-pal friend Bill Brown on a variety of topics, including restoring Model-T cars. Letter reads in part, ''...Have'nt heard as yet re Screen Thrills Magazine having some more on L&H. they're sure over exposing us. I still do'nt recall Harry Woods being in 'County Hospital' or the situation of my being involved with his wife - there was no such situation in that film.!?? / I do'nt know what the pies cost in 'Battle of the Century', the four thousand were contracted for & delivered in trucks every day of shooting - evidently a wholesale deal - every studio has a purchasing dept. so get a special price. / Yes, I watch the Johnny Carson show quote often he's a funny comic...[signed] Stan Laurel''. Laurel then writes a funny P.S. regarding his friend's propensity to ask questions in the form of a list, ''What no questionaire? you're slipping''. Single page letter measures 5.5'' x 8.5''.
