Harry Truman signed copy of Volume I of his ''Memoirs: Year of Decisions''. Garden City, NY: Doubleday & Co., 1955. Truman inscribes the copy to photographer Alfred Eisenstaedt, who photographed Truman on several occasions. On the half-title page Truman writes, ''With kind regards to Alfred Eisenstaedt / from / Harry Truman / Independence / Nov. 12, 1955''. Housed in very good unclipped dust jacket, with some toning, chipping and small bit of paper loss at spine. Separation starting to front joint of book, otherwise near fine.
