Bruce Lee owned exercise equipment, used by Lee in the mid-1960s as part of his strenuous fitness regimen, and gifted in the late 1960s (before moving back to Hong Kong) to Herb Jackson, Lee's close friend and first generation Jeet Kune Do protege. Leather blocking shield was likely used by Lee to protect himself from hits by his training partners. Cooper brand shield, model GM6, is made of leather, wood, foam and lacing. Measures 8'' wide x 16'' long. Some scuffing from use, overall in very good condition. With an LOA from Jackson's son.
