John Wayne mug from ''Rooster Cogburn'', customized and gifted to a member of the crew for the 1975 feature film, the sequel to ''True Grit''. Wayne famously had mugs (all featuring a gold handle) custom made for each member of the cast and crew on his films, and would give them out after shooting wrapped. Ceramic mug features a printed illustration of Wayne and Katharine Hepburn in character from ''Rooster Cogburn'', with custom print to verso reading: ''MARVIN from Duke'', given to Marvin Weldon, the script supervisor. Underside is stamped ''KETCHUM originals'' in Long Beach, California. Measures 3.5'' in height and 3'' in diameter, not including handle. Some loss of finish to inside of handle, overall very good plus condition.
