Pablo Picasso terre de faience (earthenware) plate, ''Femme Echevelee'' created at the famed Madoura pottery studio in the south of France, where Picasso collaborated the last 25 years of his life. Painted plate was created in 1963 in a small edition of 100, numbered 38/100, also with the workshop numbering, and with both the Empreinte Originale de Picasso and Madoura stamps. Measures 10.5'' in diameter. In very good condition with a minute chip on the rim. Number 511 in Alan Ramie's ''Picasso, Catalogue of the Edited Ceramic Works, 1947-1971''.
