''A King's Story'' limited edition, signed by its author, His Royal Highness Edward, the Duke of Windsor. New York: G.P. Putnam's Sons, 1951. Volume is bound in publisher's rust-colored morocco leather with gilt lettering to spine, gilt armorial coats of arms to front, five raised bands, top edge gilt, and silk moire endpapers. Signed ''Edward'' on the limitation page, this copy is #277 of 385 in the limited edition. Dedicated to Wallis Simpson, for whom he abdicated the throne, Edward's autobiography recounts his life as the ''Little Prince'' up until his abdication, with reflections upon the grave responsibility of King. Book is profusely illustrated with photographs of Edward's life. Measures 6.5'' x 9.75'' and runs 435pp. Housed in matching rust-colored slipcase, which has some dampstaining along edges. Some cracking along joints and at head of spine, overall very good condition.
