Albumen photographs of Lakota leaders, circa mid-1880s, including one of Sitting Bull shortly before he was killed. Album page contains four albumen photographs, each measuring 3.75'' x 5.25'', of Sitting Bull, Indian Policeman Fast Horse, Chief Flying Horse, and The Misses Few Tails, all posed in front of a studio backdrop showing Native American battle scenes. Album page originates from the photography studio of Northwestern Photo Co. of Chadron, Nebraska, well known for documenting the Wounded Knee Massacre immediately after it happened. Page measures 10'' x 7''. Some moisture discoloration to mat, not affecting photos which, apart from a small amount of foxing and fading to Chief Flying Horse, are near fine.
