Abraham Lincoln magic lantern slide, picturing Lincoln in his last photo session on 5 February 1865, clearly showing the effects of the Presidency and the Civil War during the five scant years since his Cooper Union photo. Photo is 0-116, taken by Alexander Gardner. Glass slide measures 4'' x 3.25'', including casing. Paper label on side reads ''Private Collection of George S. Paine''. Very good condition.
