Prault, one of the most celebrated Booksellers of Paris, both for the Largeness of his Dealings, and the Probity and Integrity of his Conduct. I thought it might be useful to both of you to be acquainted with each other, and therefore recommend him to you: And I doubt not, but in every things, which you can do to serve and oblige him, he will find you very ready & willing. In doing so, you will also confer a Favour on Sir / Your most obedient & most humble Servant / David Hume''. Single page letter with docketing upon verso measures 6.5'' x 8.5''.
