The author and illustrator signs upon the front free endpaper below a sketch of a young boy, ''To Marc Antoine with love / Ludwig''. Marc Antoine was Bemelmans' godson. Light soiling to pastedowns and endpapers of 12.5'' x 10'' book. Contains illustrated paper boards and original unclipped dust jacket. Very good condition.
