Franklin D. Roosevelt autograph letter signed, datelined ''Warm Springs Ga. / Sunday'' with no year, but circa 1927, shortly after he opened the Warm Springs treatment center in 1926. Letter is composed upon ''Roosevelt & O'Connor'' letterhead, which ran from 1925-1928. Letter reads, ''Dear Franklin...I got here safely last night & we have both missed you a lot this past week. I do wish you were down here with me. Do send me a line to tell me how everything is going. I used to be [?] in your dormitory...How do you like the class work & are you playing football? Write me lots & lots of things - I fear you have had it pretty cold at school. Much love from us both - Take good care of yourself Affectionately / Father''. Single page letter measures 8.5'' x 11''. Folds, else near fine.
