Civil war reunion flag for the 30th Virginia Volunteer Infantry, a regiment that was extremely active during the war, sustaining over 200 in killed and wounded at Sharpsburg, and over 65 at Drewry's Bluff. Well constructed flag made from thick canvas features six stars sewn upon both sides and the words ''UCV / 30th VA. Vols.'' stenciled in gold on the front, referencing the United Confederate Veterans. ''30 UCV'' is stamped upon the edge, which has two metal grommets and cord ties. Measures 34'' x 22'' including 1'' gold fringe. Light soiling, overall very good plus condition.
